He Did His Under Graduation In Rajah Muthiah Medical College , Annamalai University From 1995- 2001. He Completed His D.O In Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai From 2001- 2003. He Completed DNB In Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore From 2003- 2005. He Completed His Fellowship In Aravind Eye Hospital ,Coimbatore, During 2005- 2006 And Continued To Work As A Cornea & Refractive Consultant Till 2013.  He Also Completed International Council Of Ophthalmology (ICO) Fellowship In Cornea, Refractive & External Diseases In John. A. Moran Eye Center, Salt Lake City, United States Of America In 2007. He Has Made Numerous Presentations And Also Been An Invited Speaker In Many State, National And International Conferences. He Has Many Publications To His Credit Also.

A pioneer in Lamellar keratoplasties which includes Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasties  and all types of Endothelial Transplantations particularly Descemet’s Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty (DMEK).He started Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty (DALK) in 2007 and has completed more than 500 DALK.  He was one of the first surgeons in India who started DMEK as early as 2014 and has crossed more than 700 DMEK surgeries. He has performed more than 1000 keratoplasties including Keratoprosthesis. He conducts regular certified DMEK training course for all corneal surgeons in India.
